Transportation Aide

Hours: 6:30 am to 8:30 am AND 1:15 pm to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday Starting Salary: $18.49 per hour

Minimum Skills/Job Requirements:

• Minimum education requirement is a high school diploma or its equivalency.
• A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
• Must pass new hire drug testing.
• Possess effective communication skills; both oral and written.
• Willingness to assist with the requirements of special needs students.
• Possess a positive attitude toward special needs students.
• Ability to lift and/or manipulate body weight of children - minimum weight is 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb stairs and lift/manipulate wheelchairs with students.
• Meets qualifications defined in the current Ohio Revised Code, Ohio Pupil Transportation Operation & Safety Rules, and School Board Policy.
