Automotive Service ManagerNew Roads Motor Company is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, mentoring staff, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, and driving efficiency across all service workflows. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with a strong background in dealership service operations and a customer-first approach.ResponsibilitiesOversee all service department operations, including scheduling, customer service, technician productivity, and workflow managementManage and ensure compliance with all warranty processes, maximizing warranty revenue while adhering to manufacturer standardsProvide leadership and oversight for the dealership’s Mobile Service Team to deliver efficient, high-quality off-site serviceRecruit, train, and develop service advisors and techniciansMaintain a high level of customer satisfaction, addressing escalated issues promptly and professionallyMonitor department profitability, including budgets, labor hours, and parts inventoryCollaborate with parts, sales, office, and body shop departments to optimize overall dealership performanceEnforce safety standards, manufacturer requirements, and company policiesKeep accurate service records, reports, and customer communication logsTrack and monitor KPIs to ensure goals are consistently achieved or exceededFoster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvementMentor team members to encourage ongoing learning and career developmentQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferredPrior experience as a Service Manager or in a senior dealership service role requiredDemonstrated success in automotive dealership service operationsStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsProficiency in DMS systems and dealership software (Dealertrack) preferred but not requiredIn-depth knowledge of automotive repairs, service processes, and warranty proceduresValid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving recordBenefitsCompetitive salary with performance-based bonusesMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysEmployee discounts on vehicles, parts, and serviceOngoing training and professional development opportunitiesPositive, professional, and team-oriented dealership cultureNew Roads Motor Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace.
