Tiello is partnering with a leading Refrigeration Contractor on their search for a Refrigeration Project Manager to join their Operations Team in Chino, CA . This is a critical leadership role focused on the successful execution of refrigeration system installations - managing labor, equipment, vendors, budgets, and customer expectations from kickoff through completion.

If you're a hands-on project leader with experience in refrigeration construction , a deep understanding of system installation, and the ability to balance efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction , this role is designed for you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead full-cycle project management for refrigeration installation jobs- tracking timelines, coordinating resources, and managing deliverables across multiple teams.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, clients, engineers, and field personnel to define scope, schedule, and budget for each project.
• Review project estimates, designs, and labor plans; adjust as needed to ensure profitability and successful execution.
• Oversee and track job progress, procurement, subcontractor performance, safety compliance, and equipment deliveries.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers, subcontractors, sales, and leadership regarding job-specific details.
• Manage change orders, vendor quotes, and subcontractor agreements.
• Provide monthly updates on forecasting, billing, and collections-maintaining visibility into revenue, cost, and margin targets.
• Support technical troubleshooting and help guide field operations when project-related challenges arise.
• Champion jobsite safety and adherence to OSHA guidelines and company protocols.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of project management experience in commercial or industrial refrigeration or related construction.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple active job sites.
• Strong working knowledge of refrigeration system installation and design.
• Proficiency with construction documents, blueprints, submittals, and project scheduling tools.
• Financial literacy - understanding of budgets, forecasting, margins, and cost control.
• High-level communication skills - both internally across teams and externally with customers and vendors.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and project tracking platforms.
• Comfortable working in field environments, on roofs, and in elevated or confined spaces.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and be authorized to work in the U.S.

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, climb, kneel, or crouch throughout the workday.
• Will occasionally work on ladders, rooftops, and elevated platforms.
• May be exposed to outdoor conditions with high temperatures in summer months.
• Must wear appropriate PPE on job sites and follow OSHA safety protocols. xhyhwjd
