11-month contract opportunity
Hybrid 3 days onsite

Seeking a Senior Java/J2EE Developer to build and support scalable enterprise applications in a global Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and global IT teams to deliver projects.
• Design and develop stable, scalable server-side applications aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Provide hands-on development, testing, and code coverage.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, and stand-ups.
• Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate technical requirements.
• Apply modern development, testing, and DevOps best practices.

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong Core Java, J2EE, Spring, and Hibernate/ORM experience.
• Enterprise server-side application development.
• REST/SOAP Web Services, XML, XPath, XSLT, JSON.
• Apache Tomcat or similar web server experience.
• Strong SQL/database skills;Sybase or DB2 preferred.
• JUnit and experience with profiling tools such as JProfiler/JProbe.
• Strong understanding of Design Patterns and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Unix/Linux development experience.
• Exposure to Angular, JavaScript, or React.
• Experience with JIRA/ALM tools, Agile methodologies, and DevOps.
• Exposure to AI tools and models.

Domain Experience:

• Financial markets, banking products, or wealth management preferred.

Ideal Candidate:

A strong hands-on Java engineer with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and experience working in fast-paced global Agile environments.
