Content Specialist I
Location: Redwood City, CA Duration: Long Term
Duties:
- Generating quality written materials to attract visitors to the organization's website
- Writing and editing content for the website
- Finding and creating images and other visual elements
- Ensuring search engine optimization (SEO) best practices are followed
- Moderating and contributing to discussions in the website's comment section
- Contributing to organizational social media accounts
- Completing additional marketing and advertising tasks
Skills:
- Understanding of SEO techniques
- Excellent writing abilities
- Ability to engage consumers
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Proficiency with basic computer software
- Web-related skills (such as with content management systems)
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field
- Previous experience in a similar position may be required or preferred
