PCU RN Qualifications

• Valid Virginia RN License
• At least 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the last 4 years
• Current AHA BLS Certification
• Current AHA ACLS Certification
• Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past year
• COVID-19 vaccination or an accepted medical/religious exemption
• Additional certifications may be necessary depending on the facility

Your Responsibilities

As a PCU RN with our organization, you will deliver exceptional patient care in acute-care hospital settings. Your duties may include:

• Evaluating, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
• Tracking cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status
• Administering medications, IV treatments, and prescribed therapies

• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Adhering to facility infection-control and patient-safety protocols
• Educating patients and families about care and discharge plans
• Adapting professionally to various hospital units and environments
