The company values professionalism, teamwork, and a strong commitment to quality on every job site. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Ocala, FL. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, and light industrial settings, following all applicable codes and safety regulations. Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints, running conduit and wiring, installing fixtures and panels, and performing system tests to verify proper operation. The role also involves diagnosing electrical issues, completing troubleshooting and corrective repairs, and documenting work performed. The Electrician will collaborate with project managers and other trades on job sites, communicate clearly with customers, and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Qualifications Strong foundational knowledge of electricity and electrical principles; ability to apply electrical theory in practical field situations. Hands‑on experience with general electrical work, including installation of wiring, panels, fixtures, and associated hardware. Skills in maintenance & repair of electrical systems, with the ability to perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance. Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective, safe solutions. Relevant licensure or certification as an Electrician in Florida, or eligibility to obtain required credentials. Solid understanding of NEC and local electrical codes, along with strong safety awareness and adherence to PPE and site rules. Ability to work on-site full time, lift and carry materials, use hand and power tools, and perform tasks in various environmental conditions. Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow instructions, complete tasks independently, and manage time efficiently.
