Onsite Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist Opportunity! Weekly pay! $52+ per hour!
Core Responsibilities
- Clinical Record Review: Conducts concurrent or retrospective record reviews to spot documentation gaps, inconsistencies, or missing diagnoses.
- Provider Queries: Initiates compliant, clinically sound queries to clarify diagnoses, ensuring adherence to ACDIS and AHIMA guidelines.
- Collaboration: Works closely with physicians, coding staff, and quality/compliance teams.
- Education & Tracking: Delivers real-time documentation feedback, tracks response rates, and monitors performance metrics like query turnaround times.
Requirements
- License/Certification: Requires a clinical background (such as an RN) or equivalent clinical/medical provider status.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, analytical skills, and professional provider communication.
