Overview:
- Cooks support kitchen operations by preparing and serving food during events. This is a part-time, event-driven role where hours vary depending on the event schedule.
MUST HAVE 1 YEAR COOKING EXPERIENCE OR WILL BE TURNED AWAY
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food following recipes and concession menu guidelines.
- Maintain food quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Keep kitchen areas clean, organized, and stocked.
- Label, rotate, and store food properly.
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with prep, concessions, and catering.
- Provide friendly customer service and hospitality.
- Follow directions from culinary management and complete assigned tasks.
- Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 1 year cooking experience preferred (concessions, catering, or sports/entertainment venues a plus).
- Basic knife skills and knowledge of food prep techniques.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays).
- Positive attitude, teamwork, and customer service focus.

General responsibilities when working a Cook job assignment can include:
- Cook food items according to recipes and food production standards
- Ensure food is safely prepared and at the proper temperature for consumption
- Keep cooking station clean and orderly during shift
- Comply with all sanitation and safety standards to ensure a safe work environment
- Safely use and operate cooking appliances and utensils
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service for guests as needed
- Assist in ordering and receiving food products for the kitchen as needed
- Work in a busy environment and standing for long periods of time
