The Role

100X is looking for a Helpdesk Technician to provide remote and onsite technical support to our clients throughout the South Florida Tri-County area.

This role is ideal for someone who has built a solid foundation in helpdesk support and is ready to take on more advanced troubleshooting and administrative responsibilities.

You'll handle common support requests independently, troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Windows, network, and workstation issues, perform routine user administration, and assist with onsite installations and deployments. You'll also work alongside more senior technical resources when an issue requires deeper investigation or escalation.

Strong customer service, troubleshooting skills, and communication are just as important as technical knowledge. We're looking for someone who can take ownership of an issue, work through it methodically, keep the client informed, and know when it's time to escalate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide remote and onsite technical support to clients throughout the South Florida Tri-County area.

• Troubleshoot Windows desktop, laptop, application, printer, and peripheral issues.

• Support Microsoft 365 applications and troubleshoot common Microsoft 365 user issues.

• Perform routine Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Azure, and Active Directory administration, including user onboarding and offboarding, password resets, licensing, and group membership changes.

• Troubleshoot common Internet, Wi-Fi, connectivity, DNS, DHCP, and IP configuration issues.

• Stage, configure, deploy, relocate, and troubleshoot workstations and related equipment.

• Install and configure printers, time clocks, and other peripherals.

• Assist with the installation, configuration, and relocation of network equipment including switches, routers, and wireless access points.

• Perform basic troubleshooting of network equipment and escalate when appropriate.

• Assist senior technical resources with projects, deployments, and client IT assessments.

• Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and client communication clearly and accurately in the ticketing system.

• Maintain ownership of assigned tickets through resolution or appropriate escalation.

• Communicate professionally with clients and provide regular updates on the status of their requests.

Requirements:

2+ years of hands-on IT support experience, preferably providing helpdesk or onsite support in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.

You should have working experience with:

• Windows 10 and Windows 11 installation, configuration, and troubleshooting

• Microsoft 365 applications and administration

• Active Directory user and group administration

• Microsoft Entra ID/Azure user administration

• User onboarding and offboarding

• Basic TCP/IP networking concepts

• DHCP and DNS fundamentals

• Internet and Wi-Fi troubleshooting

• Workstation and peripheral deployment

• Remote troubleshooting and support tools

• Ticketing systems and technical documentation

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal communication)

You should also have a general understanding of Microsoft Windows Server environments and common infrastructure roles such as Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP. You do not need to be a server administrator, but you should understand how these components relate to the user environment and be able to perform basic troubleshooting before escalating an issue.

What Will Make You Stand Out

• Previous experience working for an MSP

• CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or similar industry certification

• Experience with Microsoft Intune

• Experience supporting Microsoft Entra ID environments

• Familiarity with networking equipment such as switches, routers, and wireless access points

• Experience assisting with technical projects or client deployments

• A demonstrated interest in continuing to develop your technical skills

Physical Demand:

• Ability to lift 20-50 pounds when needed.

• Comfortable working under desks, in server rooms, and around network equipment.

• Ability to safely assist with basic onsite equipment setup, workstation deployment, and peripheral installation.

Note: This is a full-time hybrid-remote position based in the Miami area. While much of the work can be performed remotely, candidates must be available for onsite client support as needed. Candidates will be subject to a background check and a 90-day probationary period.
