Step into a critical role providing pharmacy care at a renowned children’s hospital, supporting inpatient and pediatric patients. This travel position offers a unique opportunity to apply your skills in a specialized environment, starting ASAP for a 6-month assignment. The role is based in Jbsa Lackland, TX, with a schedule designed for balance: 7 nights on, 7 nights off, from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Later in the assignment, there is potential to transition to a day shift covering an FMLA absence through January 13, 2027.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and dispense medications accurately during night shifts in a pediatric hospital setting
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems to ensure safe and efficient pharmacy operations
• Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to optimize patient care and medication management
• Provide clinical pharmacy services with an emphasis on pediatric inpatient care

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active Texas pharmacist license is required
• Previous inpatient pharmacy experience is highly preferred
• Comfort and skill using EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication systems
• Experience working in pediatric pharmacy environments is strongly preferred
