Regional Manager, Inflight Dining Operations

American Airlines is seeking a member of the Flight Service Team within the Customer Experience Division to manage audits related to scheduled meal services. What you'll do Act as an internal subject‑matter expert on onboard galley packing, equipment, and related policies for inflight catering. Oversee completion of monthly changes in the galley packing system by the external supplier (CBASE). Audit catering diagrams for accuracy against scheduled provisioning in the AirVision catering system. Coordinate communication of all galley changes for internal and external users. Resolve galley packing issues and perform ad hoc analysis for new service concepts and aircraft. Investigate catering problems and issues. Assist with development and implementation of solutions related to galley diagrams. Work with vendors and providers sourcing products or service requests. Serve as liaison between CBASE and AA Flight Service Procedures. Travel domestically and internationally as required. All you'll need for success Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/training. Three years of experience in airline/hotel food and beverage, restaurants, catering, purchasing, or flight service. Prior project‑management experience. Availability to travel 50%–75% of the time domestically and internationally. Passport in possession before employment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in airline catering operations, aircraft galleys, or flight service. Skills, Licenses & Certifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher). Creative and analytical mindset with demonstrated problem‑solving and decision‑making skills. Ability to manage workloads with changing priorities and limited guidance. Ability to present work concisely to internal and external parties. Organizational, leadership, and project planning skills.
