Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with at least 1 year of Cath Lab and/or IR experience, including the ability to float to the EP Lab.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab setting with float capability to EP Lab and IR
• Procedures include cardiac catheterization, IR, and EP cases, with pacemaker experience expected
• EMR is Epic
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with one day off during the week
• Occasional extended shifts to complete end-of-day cases
• Weekday on-call: 1–2 shifts per week from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend on-call: every 3rd or 4th weekend, with weekend shifts required only when on-call
• Holiday coverage based on unit needs

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab and/or IR experience required; 2 years of Cath/IR and EP experience preferred
• RNs with Cath/IR scrub experience will be considered
• ARRT or RCIS certification required
• Current ACLS and BLS required
• Ability to float to EP Lab required
• Experience with pacemakers required
• License required if applicable
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Orientation consists of a 2-day system-wide orientation on Monday and Tuesday of the first week, followed by a site-specific orientation on Wednesday
• This is a nicotine-free facility
• New graduates will not be considered for this position
• Local and travel candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Minimal or no RTO can be accommodated during the World Cup period (June 11 – July 19), as manager approvals during that timeframe are not guaranteed
