Full-Time STEM Instructor

Freudigman & Billings is looking to add a full-time STEM instructor to our team. In particular, we are seeking someone with a significant track record of helping students prepare for AP level coursework in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. Preference will be given to candidates with an interest in learning to teach the ACT and SAT.

This is not a remote position. All work is performed at our center in Westport, CT.

What We Do

Our instructors help students build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and gain a deeper understanding of math and science subjects, providing thoughtful, rigorous support in a way that’s both engaging and effective. The work is deeply rewarding and offers opportunities to make lasting academic and personal impact.

Who You Are

You have a B.A./B.S. in Mathematics, Science, or a related field. You may have some teaching or tutoring experience, or you're eager to learn. What matters most is your intellectual curiosity, your ability to connect with students, and your drive to grow. We’ll train you in our instructional methods, but you’ll bring your unique spark. Maybe it’s your knack for breaking down tricky math problems, or your ability to make a stressed-out teen crack a smile. Either way, we’re looking for someone who can build real relationships and make learning feel possible. Maybe even enjoyable. There’s also an opportunity to join our rotational training program, where you’ll gain exposure to other disciplines like Educational Therapy and Standardized Test Prep in order to broaden your skills and career potential.
