Director of Admissions-Nursing Home
Located in Queens, NY
Salary: Based On Previous Experience
Qualifications of the Director of Admissions:
Must have prior experience as an Admissions Director in a nursing home setting
Must have experience in a long term care/skilled nursing facility
Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills
Excellent leadership skills
Drive and passion for success and excellence
Responsibilities of the Director of Admissions :
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the facility and attract new residents, including conducting tours.
Handle inquiry calls from hospitals, families, etc., and provide appointments that include a presentation, tour and closing.
Ensure all admissions activities and documentation comply with state, federal, and company regulations.
Track admissions, discharges, and occupancy trends, and prepare regular reports for facility leadership.
Supervise and manage admissions staff
