Cross Country Education is looking for a compassionate and proactive Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a high school student in Stafford Springs, CT for the 2026-2027 school year. Position Overview Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing support to a high school student, ensuring safety, comfort, and consistent access to educational activities throughout the school day. Manage and monitor complex health needs, including seizure protocols, medication-related supports, and use of adaptive equipment and mobility devices such as gait trainers. Assist with physical care needs, including safe transfers and mobility support, while maintaining a supportive and dignified learning environment. Collaborate with the classroom teacher and related service providers to ensure the student can fully participate in classroom routines and school activities. Qualifications Active Connecticut Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License Valid Driver's License Valid CPR, First Aid, and AED Certifications Prior experience in pediatric nursing, complex care management, or a school-based setting (Preferred) Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including the capability to safely lift and transfer up to 50 lbs.
