Gensler Architect – Healthcare As a Gensler Architect in the Healthcare team, you will combine creativity, technical expertise, and business acumen to design functionally beautiful and sustainable healthcare spaces. Responsibilities Coordinate documentation with consultants (structural, MEP, lighting, AV, acoustical, accessibility, building envelope, life safety, etc.) Work with project team, client, vendors, contractors, and consultants across a variety of healthcare projects (medical office buildings, hospitals, outpatient clinics, surgery centers, community health centers). Resolve complex technical and design issues to produce innovative, constructible solutions. Direct production of drawings, specifications, and construction administration tasks, ensuring delivery of documents with design intent and top‑notch technical quality. Maintain and oversee the project manual and specifications, conduct on‑site observations, and document site reviews. Process submittals, substitution requests, and address RFIs during construction. Interface with building and permitting officials during permitting and construction phases. Participate in financial performance of projects and review proposals and contracts. Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs. Establish and maintain productive client relationships. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited school. Registered/Licensed Architect. 10+ years (preferred) of related experience on healthcare projects, from feasibility studies to master planning. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and codes. Highly proficient with Revit. LEED AP (or in process) preferred. Expertise with building codes, standards, and building structures, able to lead and guide teams and clients with confidence. Flexible to focus on concurrent projects at various stages of development. Quick learner who thrives in a fast‑paced work environment. Collaborative, team‑conscious.
