General Information:
- Number of Beds:
- 9 Labor & Delivery
- 3 Swing Rooms
- 2 Operating Rooms
- 3 Bed OBED
- Patient Ratios: 1:2
- Staffing Description:
- Unit Secretary and Scrub Tech
- Dedicated CRNA & Midwife in-house 24/7
- OBGYN on call

Unit Equipment:
- Documentation System: CPN and Meditech

Scheduling Requirements:
- Weekend Shifts: 4 per month

Floating Policy:
- May float to maternity/birth or outside department to assist with tasks

Patient Experience Requirements:
- Maintain a patient satisfaction score above 75%

Certifications Required:
- RN, ACLS, BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring

What We're Looking For:
- Must Have:
- Passion for providing the highest quality of care to laboring patients
- Ability to support patient choice and promote vaginal birth opportunities


- Advanced Skills Preferred:
- Spinning Babies techniques helpful
- STABLE certification also beneficial

Procedures Performed on Unit:
- Circulating in OR
- IUPC, FSE placements
- Magnesium Sulfate administration
- Postpartum hemorrhage management via JADA system
- Nitrous oxide usage

Dress Code:
- Required Uniform: Hot pink and black
- Prefer hot pink on top, black on bottom

- TIPQC Pilot Hospital for NTSV
- Team Birth initiatives
