PAML a Labcorp Company is seeking a Sr Courier to join our team in Spokane, WA Work Schedule: Hours vary Monday - Friday 12:00 pm to 12:00 am overtime and additional days and hours may be required Job Responsibilities: Load all necessary supplies needed for the daily pickups Complete daily pick up schedule in a timely manner Deliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shift Handle all specimens and lab samples in safe and efficient manner Safely operate company vehicle and obey all traffic laws Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily picks up Work directly with dispatcher for additional pick-ups as needed Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes and weather conditions as needed Act as a floater for the logistics team providing as needed for various routes Minimum Qualifications: No Experience or Education Required Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent 2 or more years of previous driver/courier experience Previous experience in health care, logistics or transportation environments Additional Job Standards: Valid Driver's License and clean driving record Be at least 21 years old Very punctual with strong time management skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to problem solve customer issues Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Flexibility to work overtime as needed Exceptional customer service Strong communication skills; both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision At PAML a Labcorp Company we have a passion in helping people live happy and healthy lives. In this position, you will be responsible for the pickup, transport, and delivery of medical specimens, lab supplies, and reports, while providing excellent service to our clients. Pay Range: $18.63 to $26.02 per hour Plus Shift 2 Differentials All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. Included with this position is a company vehicle that you will use for your assigned route. In addition, for only $125 per month, you will have the option of taking this vehicle home nightly and having it available for personal use. Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
