Job Description

Soliant is seeking an experienced Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist for a travel assignment in West Hartford, Connecticut. This is a great opportunity to join a busy outpatient imaging center equipped with a wide range of advanced MRI technology in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.

The department features 10 MRI magnets , including a primarily GE-based system with 7 GE units, 2 Hitachi units, and 1 Siemens unit . Candidates with experience across multiple MRI platforms are encouraged to apply.

This facility offers a flexible scheduling environment with the option to work five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts , with day or afternoon scheduling available depending on candidate preference and department needs. Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans in accordance with physician orders
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently
• Monitor patient condition and ensure comfort throughout procedures
• Maintain accurate imaging documentation and patient records
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to provide quality patient care

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Proficiency with MRI imaging equipment
• Knowledge of MRI safety procedures and protocols
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient setting

Qualifications/Education:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field

Experience:

• Previous MRI Technologist experience required
• Experience with GE MRI equipment preferred
• Experience with Hitachi and Siemens MRI equipment preferred

Work Hours

• Flexible day or afternoon shifts, 40 hours per week; option for 5x8 shifts or 4x10 shifts
