Specialty: CVICU Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Qualifications Active RN License Degree from accredited nursing program BLS & ACLS Certifications At least eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care CVICU setting Responsibilities The CVICU registered nurse administers medications, checks vital signs, and alerts doctors of any major changes in patient condition. Acts as a liaison between doctors and patients, ensuring patient welfare and relaying important information to families. Administer post‑operative care for patients following open‑heart surgery. Provide treatment and care for heart transplant patients. Educate patients’ families on ongoing needs and care.
