Position Overview As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, you'll provide skilled therapy services to patients in their homes, helping them regain independence, improve safety and return to meaningful daily activities. You'll develop individualized treatment plans and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to support patients recovering from illness, injury, surgery and chronic medical conditions. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations in patients' homes Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Assess patients' ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs) Provide functional rehabilitation and therapeutic activities Address upper-extremity strength, coordination and mobility Recommend adaptive equipment and home safety modifications Provide fall prevention strategies and caregiver education Collaborate with nursing, PT, SLP and other home health professionals Maintain accurate clinical documentation Travel between patient homes within the assigned service area Qualifications Active Montana Occupational Therapist license Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program NBCOT certification, as applicable Home health experience preferred Strong independent clinical judgment and time-management skills Ability to travel between patient visits About Missoula, Montana Missoula is one of Montana's most desirable mountain communities, located in western Montana where several mountain ranges meet.
