Oracle Product Data Hub Consultant
Location: Cleveland, OH
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Product Data Hub (PDH) Consultant to design, implement, and support enterprise Product Master Data Management (MDM) solutions using Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, data governance teams, and technical teams to ensure high-quality, standardized, and governed product data across systems.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Responsibilities:
- Lead or support implementation and enhancement of Oracle Product Data Hub (PDH-PIM).
- Gather and analyze business requirements related to Item Master, Product Lifecycle, Naming Standards, and Attributes.
- Configure Item Classes, Item Attributes, Value Sets, and UOMs.
- Define and implement Product Data Governance, including approval workflows and change management.
- Support Product Creation, Enrichment, and Publication processes.
- Collaborate with business users for data cleansing, de-duplication, and data migration.
- Develop functional documentation:
- Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
- Functional Design Documents (FDD)
- Configuration documents and user guides
- Conduct user training and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Work with technical teams on PDH integrations with:
- Oracle EBS modules (Inventory, BOM, PO, OM)
- Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM
- External systems (PLM, ERP, legacy systems)
- Support data conversions/migrations using FBDI, Web Services, APIs, or Open Interface tables.
- Validate PDH setups with reports, BI tools, and reconciliation checks.
- Assist in production support, issue analysis, and resolution.
- 5+ years of experience with Oracle Product Data Hub (PDH / PIM).
- Strong understanding of:
- Item Master & Item Classes
- Product Attributes & Structures
- Lifecycle Phases & Item Statuses
- Change Orders & Approval Workflows
- Experience in Product Master Data Governance (MDM) concepts.
- Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.x) and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM (PIM/PDH).
- Knowledge of related modules:
- Inventory (INV)
- Bills of Material (BOM)
- Purchasing (PO)
- Order Management (OM)
- Familiarity with FBDI, REST/SOAP APIs, and data integration.
