Job Title: Distribution Associate 3rd Shift $19

Job Description

Join a growing distribution team on 3rd shift, where you will play a key role in processing, auditing, packing, and shipping products to meet customer needs. This position focuses on accurate order handling, inventory support, and quality inspection in a clean, fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Process and audit customer orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Process and audit company products so they are configured to meet specific customer requirements.
• Pack products securely and efficiently for shipment.
• Ship orders to designated customer locations following established procedures.
• Inspect products to verify adherence to customer specifications and quality standards.
• Sort and count parts to support accurate inventory control.
• Collect cardboard and load it into the compactor to maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Support shipping and receiving activities, including labeling and preparing items for dispatch.
• Assist with general warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, and inventory-related duties as needed.

Essential Skills

• Prior experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Hands-on experience with order picking processes.
• Proficiency in packing products for shipment.
• Experience with shipping procedures and documentation.
• Ability to perform inventory tasks, including stock checks and counts.
• Accuracy in counting parts and items.
• Skill in labeling products and packages correctly.
• Attention to detail when auditing orders and inspecting products.

Work Environment

The work takes place in a very clean, fast-paced warehouse setting focused on distribution and production activities. Team members work in a relaxed dress environment, allowing for comfortable attire suitable for active warehouse work. You will spend most of your time on your feet performing tasks such as picking, packing, shipping, receiving, counting, and labeling, while contributing to a tidy and organized facility.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milan, IL.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Milan,IL.
