Assistant Manager - Palm Beach

Summary The Assistant Manager partners with the Managing Director and Floor Director to run day-to-day boutique operations, drive sales, and support an exceptional client experience in a fast-paced luxury retail environment. This role includes supervising and coaching sales staff, monitoring inventory and sales performance, and stepping into senior leadership duties as needed. Responsibilities Supervise, coach and train sales staff to achieve sales objectives and model exceptional service on the sales floor. Identify sales opportunities by reviewing business by métier, tracking deliveries and special orders, and aligning goals with sales specialists. Support CRM standards and daily follow-up to maximize client capture and data quality. Manage scheduling, time and attendance records, and monitor staffing needs in coordination with HR. Organize seasonal trainings, share product updates, and ensure sales team integration at point of sale. Assist with recruiting, interviewing and maintaining a database of candidates; make client and operational decisions in absence of senior leaders. Requirements Minimum 4+ years of retail management experience, luxury retail experience preferred. Proficiency with basic office tools and retail systems (Excel, Word, Cegid, E-time) and ability to learn POS and payroll systems. Ability to interpret sales data and translate insights into business recommendations. Strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated leadership supervising sales staff.
