Test Lead

Looking for Test Lead at onsite US to handle multiple project independently having ability to work with various teams to facilitate testing.

Responsibilities:

• Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status
• Collects and analyses data for software process evaluation and improvements, and integrates them into business processes to address the business needs
• Documents all problems and assists in their resolution
• Delivers quality process training to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners

Daily Tasks Performed:

• Provide expertise in the planning, construction, and execution of test scripts/cases
• Apply business and functional knowledge including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet the team's overall objectives
• Track defects to closure and keep defect repository up-to-date.
• Partner with product owner and developers to deliver a quality product to clients; Evaluation and reporting of test results

Skillsets:

• Experience in Automotive Finance industry
• Experience in Lending industry experience, Leasing experience a big plus
• Strong knowledge of Quality Center
• Knowledge of SQl database (Write & execute SQL Queries)
• Strong ability in using QA functional and performance testing tools to create, maintain, and execute test scripts
• Knowledge of TSO is an added advantage
• Excellent communications skills, both written & verbal.
