You can make a difference in your career by helping people stay in the comfort of their homes.Right At Home, In-Home Care is seeking Live-in Caregivers to work in the following targeted locations: Wallingford, Hamden, Middletown, Cromwell, Southington, Plainville, Cheshire, Waterbury, Naugatuck, Middlebury, Watertown, Woodbury, Southbury, Terryville, Plymouth, and Thomaston locations.Caregiver (Required) Items: No exceptions· Must be 18 years of age· Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds· Must have a reliable car· Valid Driver's license and auto insurance· High School diploma or GED· Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check· Must have basic computer skills and navigate with little assistance from othersNice to Have's:CNA or HHA CertificationCovid Vaccination and Booster, PPD, Flu, Hepatitis B and MMRCPR and First Aid CertificationEssential Caregiver Functions:Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):Personal HygieneAmbulation/TransfersDressing/ShavingPrepares meals and snacks according to instructionsAccompany patient on errands or medical appointmentsPerforms light housekeeping activitiesPerforms patient-specific activities are taught by a Right at Home senior caregiver and/or office staff.
