Quality Systems & Compliance Engineer | Milpitas, CA Work Mode: Onsite Duration: 12 Months contract Job Description: We are seeking a Quality Systems & Compliance Engineer to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, quality standards, and internal procedures. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, quality management system standards, internal policies, procedures, and organizational directives. Plan, develop, and execute internal and external audit programs. Prepare audit plans, audit checklists, reports, and supporting documentation. Conduct process and area audits to assess compliance and identify non-conformances and opportunities for improvement. Support external audits conducted by customers, regulatory authorities, certification bodies, and government agencies. Document audit findings and coordinate corrective and preventive actions with responsible teams. Monitor internal and external corrective actions to ensure timely implementation and verify their effectiveness. Evaluate the implementation and effectiveness of applicable regulations, standards, policies, and quality procedures. Provide guidance to cross‑functional teams on implementing quality and regulatory requirements into their processes. Develop and deliver training programs on quality systems, regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and applicable procedures. Maintain accurate audit records, compliance documentation, and quality system records. Monitor new and revised regulations, standards, policies, and procedures to support ongoing compliance. Support product certification and environmental compliance activities, as applicable. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen quality systems and organizational compliance. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Systems, or Compliance. Experience with internal audits, external audits, CAPA, and quality documentation. ASQ CQE certification or equivalent is preferred. Knowledge of product certification, environmental compliance, or EHS is a plus.
