Head Softball Coach

Lake County School District 7 is looking for a Varsity Softball Coach. The projected start date - 11/1/2026. FTE 1.0. Hourly Range: $6,226 - $6,739. This position is OPEN until filled.

• Knowledge of softball fundamentals, rules, strategies, and skill development
• Ability to organize effective practices focusing on offensive and defensive fundamentals. Plan and attend off-season workouts. Communicate professionally with student-athletes, families, and school staff. Ability to game plan for upcoming opponents
• Commitment to student academic success, sportsmanship, and consistent enforcement of the Athletics Handbook, School and State policies
• Ability to complete all required district and OSAA coaching trainings and maintain current CPR/First Aid certification before beginning coach
