Job Summary
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) Ithaca, New York. This role provides postoperative and recovery care in the Preoperative / Post Anesthesia Care Unit setting, supporting patient comfort and safe transition through the peri-anesthesia phase. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days; 12 shift hours; minimum 36 hours per week (shift times range from 6a6p, 7a7p, 8a8p, and 9a9p). On-call requirement includes roughly 34 weeknight calls and one 24-hour weekend call in an 8-week period (weeknight call hours: 9p7a; weekend call hours: 7a7a).
- Required Qualifications: Current, active license appropriate for the role (license must be brought on the first day).
- Additional Information: On-call requirement is approximately 34 weeknight calls and one 24-hour weekend call in an 8-week period; call requirement may increase or decrease depending on staffing.
