Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse (ER) Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a community hospital setting. The role requires a dedicated healthcare professional to deliver timely, effective treatment to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Certifications and education requirements include BLS, NIHSS, ACLS, and PALS. Candidates must have a valid license and a minimum of 2 years of ER experience.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: BLS, NIHSS, ACLS, PALS certifications; 2 years of ER experience; valid license.
• Responsibilities include managing a wide range of emergency clinical scenarios such as pediatrics, psychiatric, respiratory, neurological, and trauma cases, as well as performing IV therapy, medication administration, and emergency procedures.
• Skills required encompass abdominal pain, asthma, burns, head injury, seizures, psychiatric crises, and more, alongside proficiency in interpreting ABGs and managing ventilated patients.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with pediatric near drowning and procedural sedation administration.
• The role involves utilization of EPIC charting system, with orientation and compliance modules required prior to start.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to all Saint Lukes Health System Metro Emergency Departments as needed.
• Submission requirements include documentation of certifications, licensing, and compliance forms.
