About the Position

We are seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN physician for a locum opportunity in Ketchikan, Alaska. This is a great opportunity for providers looking for a flexible schedule while making an impact in a community-focused healthcare setting.

Position Details:

• Specialty: Obstetrics/Gynecology
• Location: Ketchikan, Alaska
• Start Date: ASAP / September 14, 2026
• Duration: Ongoing coverage available
• Schedule: Approximately 1 week per month (0.25 FTE)
• EMR: Epic

Schedule & Coverage:

• Clinic hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Weekday and weekend call coverage required
• 24-hour call coverage for Labor & Delivery and Emergency Department support
• Approximately 7 days of first or second call coverage

• Inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN services
• Full-scope general OB/GYN practice
• Clinic volume approximately 10 patients/day
• Labor & Delivery volume approximately 0–2 patients/day
• Another OB/GYN available for 24/7 call support

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology
• Active Alaska license required
• BLS certification required
• Epic experience preferred
