- Performing detailed patient evaluations, arranging necessary diagnostic testing, and developing tailored treatment strategies
- Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues, either independently or in partnership with collaborating physicians
- Providing essential education to patients and families about health maintenance, prevention, and management of illnesses
- Prescribing medications and therapies in accordance with established protocols
- Engaging in follow-up care and chronic disease management
- Cooperating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, patient-centric care
- Meticulously documenting patient information in electronic health records (EHR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program
- Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Arizona
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a related specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to secure them within 90 days)
- Strong clinical judgment complemented by a caring approach to patient interaction
- Exceptional communication abilities with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues
- Flexibility in high-energy, patient-focused environments
- Familiarity with EHR systems and comfort in utilizing telehealth services
