This role offers the unique chance to make a meaningful impact across two defined assignments: a full-time maternity leave position expected from early November through mid-February, and a flexible full-school-year assignment running from late August to June 2027. Both assignments blend onsite and remote work, offering a dynamic weekly schedule.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license (please provide a copy upon request)
• Previous experience in a school setting working with students preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for interfacing with faculty, staff, and families
• Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Passion for enhancing student participation in educational environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students, as outlined in IEPs and 504 plans
• Collaborate with educational teams to create and monitor treatment goals
• Conduct assessments and provide relevant documentation for student progress
• Support and educate teachers and families on strategies to foster student development
• Travel between school sites as needed and manage a schedule that includes both onsite and remote service delivery
