Registered Nurse - Operating Room - Kenansville, North Carolina

A respected healthcare facility is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in the Operating Room to support surgical teams in delivering exceptional patient care. Qualifications Valid and unrestricted RN license Minimum of one year of recent experience working as an Operating Room RN Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and perioperative nursing standards Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team Responsibilities Circulate and/or scrub for a variety of surgical procedures in the Operating Room Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after surgery Ensure all necessary supplies, instruments, and equipment are available and functioning Adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols Accurately document nursing care and patient responses Advocate for patient needs and maintain privacy and confidentiality at all times Provide emotional support to patients and families This contract position provides an excellent opportunity to broaden your experience in perioperative nursing while working alongside talented clinicians.
