Job Title: Senior Application Analyst – Epic Hospital Claims & Remittance Onsite Requirements: Fully Onsite – 5 days/week Compensation Range: $115,000+ (flexible based on experience) Benefits: Competitive benefits package Introduction Our client is a large, established healthcare organization seeking a Senior Application Analyst – Epic Hospital Claims & Remittance to serve as a subject matter expert for Epic applications supporting hospital claims and remittance workflows. This is a direct-hire/FTE opportunity for an experienced Epic professional who can take ownership of complex application functionality, troubleshoot and optimize workflows, support upgrades and enhancements, and partner with clinical, business, technical, and vendor teams to continuously improve system performance. The ideal candidate will bring strong Epic experience, a Claims & Remittance Epic certification, and the ability to work independently while serving as a technical resource and mentor to other analysts. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Maintain advanced knowledge of operational workflows supported by assigned Epic applications. Analyze, troubleshoot, test, and resolve complex application issues while ensuring system accuracy and compliance. Lead application projects, upgrades, enhancements, and optimization initiatives as a subject matter expert. Partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and other application teams to improve workflows and system functionality. Analyze application data and reporting to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement. Support vendor patches, upgrades, configuration changes, and ongoing application maintenance. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior application analysts and serve as a technical resource for complex issues. Independently respond to end-user inquiries and develop effective solutions to application and workflow challenges. Required Skills & Qualifications Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered. Epic Hospital Claims & Remittance certification is required. 5+ years of relevant experience supporting healthcare applications, preferably within a large healthcare environment. Strong overall Epic experience, including application support, troubleshooting, testing, configuration, and optimization. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex workflows, identify issues, and develop effective solutions with minimal supervision. Strong communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills. Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field. Ability to work fully onsite, 5 days per week Miami area. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Nice-to-have skills that would make a candidate more competitive but are not required. Experience serving as an Epic subject matter expert or application lead. Experience with Epic upgrades, implementations, optimization, and system enhancements. Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to junior analysts. Experience partnering with vendors and cross-functional application/IT teams. Experience identifying opportunities for workflow optimization and process improvement.
