Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Psychiatric Location: Methuen, MA Pay Rate: $52/hour Schedule: Nights, 11:00 PM 7:00 AM Hours: Guaranteed 32 hours per week Shift Length: 8 hours Experience Required: 3+ years of psychiatric nursing experience Contract: 13 weeks

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) to join a hospital team in Methuen, Massachusetts. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled psychiatric nurse looking for a consistent overnight schedule and guaranteed weekly hours.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric nursing care.
Assess patients and monitor mental and behavioral health status.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
Monitor patients for changes in condition and behavior.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
Support a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
Respond appropriately to psychiatric and behavioral emergencies.

Requirements

Current Massachusetts RN license.
Minimum 3 years of psychiatric nursing experience required.
BLS certification required.
Strong assessment, communication, and crisis-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Reliable and professional.
