Experienced Construction Materials Testing Lab Technician

WSP is currently seeking an Experienced Construction Materials Testing Lab Technician to support a long-term construction project near Kemmerer, Wyoming . There is a per diem associated with this role. Responsibilities Perform lab classification and index property testing of soils Perform density testing of soils Sample and test concrete in the field and lab Perform analysis or calculations to check accuracy, applicability and reasonableness of testing data Monitor work procedures for compliance with project specifications Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required 7+ years of related experience on a variety of complex projects preferred Certifications might include a combination of ICC soils, ACI concrete, ICC concrete reinforcing steel, and ICC masonry Valid Driver’s License required Reliability – must be able to arrive at designated project sites prior to scheduled times Ability to prepare reports and documentation Ability to travel and work overtime as needed Ability to work in variable outside conditions Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Must pass drug test, physical, background check and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with WSP's driving (MVR) policy Benefits Medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings focused on providing health and financial stability throughout your career.
