Phlebotomist Float Full Time

Float PhlebotomistLabcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Bloomington, MN. 55425 & surrounding areas.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, hours will vary from 7:00am - 6:00pm, additional hours/days may be requested in this role. Position will include overtime.Job Responsibilities:Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisMaintain patient and specimen information logsProvide superior customer service to all patientsAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to additional sites when neededMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentPreferred Qualifications:Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomistAdditional Job Standards:In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agencyCoverage for Bloomington, Burnsville, Coon Rapids, Edina, Golden Valley, Maple Grove, St. Anthony, North & South Dakota & surrounding areasProven track record in providing exceptional customer serviceAbility to work in fast paced / high volume work environmentsAble to pass a standardized color blindness testBe at least 21 years of ageValid Driver's License and clean driving recordReliable transportationFlexibility to work overtime as neededExceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionAt LabCorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives.
