How does it feel to work on a team driven to make a big impact? Empowering. BAE Systems is seeking a Quality Auditor II to support at the VUOC facility in Anniston, Alabama. In this role as a Quality Auditor II, you will be responsible for providing quality assurance support to production teams through visual and dimensional inspections that verify conformance to product specifications using precision measurement equipment. You will also conduct audits that encompass physical product, tooling, fixture documentation, and process control systems. As a Quality Auditor, you may be assigned other duties as necessary. Schedule: This position supports on the 1st Shift, on a 4/10 Schedule, Monday through Thursday. Occasional overtime may be required. Pay Information: This position is covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which will determine your wages. Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Typically requires a High School diploma, GED, or the overall equivalent.
- Requires at least one (1) year experience in a quality assurance position.
- Must be able to demonstrate ability using standard Quality tools and precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, tape measures, etc.).
- Able to read and interpret work instructions, engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and diagrams.
- Requires basic computer and data entry skills to work within Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Physical dexterity required to perform repeative motions and lift up to 35 lbs without assistance.
- Must be able to obtain an overhead crane license after hire. Training and certification provided in-house.
- Ability to work in a team environment with minimal direct supervision.
- QA / QC experience in warehouse environment is a plus, but not required.
- FARO Laser Tracker, FARO Laser Line Probe, and/or FARO Arm experience is a plus, but not required.
