Manufacturing Production Planner – $100,000–$120,000 + Bonus

Anaheim, California | 100% Onsite

The Role

Our client, a well-established manufacturer, is hiring a Manufacturing Production Planner for its Anaheim facility.

This is a hands-on individual contributor position where your decisions will have a direct impact on production performance. You will create practical schedules, solve day-to-day planning challenges, and help ensure customers receive their products on time.

You will work closely with teams across the facility, becoming a trusted planning resource for manufacturing, purchasing, logistics, customer service, and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain daily and weekly production schedules
• Balance customer demand with capacity, materials, and inventory
• Set clear production priorities as requirements change
• Coordinate activities across manufacturing, purchasing, logistics, and customer service
• Monitor inventory and recommend scheduling adjustments
• Manage production orders and material requirements through SAP and MRP systems
• Identify potential production constraints before they cause delays
• Review planning trends and performance data
• Recommend improvements to scheduling, inventory, and production flow
• Maintain accurate planning information and communicate updates clearly

The Person

• You will have approximately 3–9 years of experience in production planning, materials planning, supply planning, scheduling, or a similar manufacturing role.
• Hands-on SAP experience is required. The company is implementing SAP across its operations and needs someone who can confidently contribute within the system from day one with minimal training.
• You will also need strong experience with MRP, inventory control, capacity planning, and production scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential.
• A relevant bachelor's degree is preferred. APICS, CPIM, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience is a plus.
