Job Description HumanHire is partnering with a precision manufacturing company in the Hicksville area to find a Quality Control Inspector to join their team. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, technical environment with opportunities for growth.
Pay Rate: Up to $70,000/yr
Location: Hempstead, NY
Schedule: 9/80 schedule Monday-Friday (Alternating Fridays off)

Quality Control Inspector Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.
- Perform dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and dimensional requirements to verify product accuracy.
- Identify and document defects and non-conformances; work with Production and Engineering to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and support improvements to quality processes and inspection procedures.
- 5+ years of experience in quality inspection or quality control within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience with precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and related inspection equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications and understand dimensional requirements.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify quality issues, analyze problems, and support corrective actions.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; quality, manufacturing, or technical certification/education preferred. Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems is a plus.
