Veterinary Technician Supervisor - Internal Medicine

BluePearl Pet Hospital is looking for a passionate Veterinary Technician Supervisor to help lead our Internal Medicine department in Cary, NC! Pay: $23.00 - $40.00 / hour This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system. We are looking for someone with excellent communication, time management and organizational skills. As Veterinary Technician Supervisor , you will: Serve as a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge. Coach team members to be continuously aware and proactive at anticipating and addressing patient and client needs and to seek assistance with escalated, stressful situations. Works with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings. Organize training schedules for Technician staff. Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution. Provide feedback leadership and works to develop performance improvement plans. Other related duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of veterinary technician experience 2+ years of leadership experience RVT or VTS preferred, but not mandatory Why BluePearl? Our passion is pets.
