Safety Specialist | Marrietta, PA

Overview HazTek is seeking an experienced Safety Professional to support a project in Marrietta, PA. This role will be responsible for helping implement and manage site-specific health and safety requirements while working closely with project teams, contractors, and subcontractors in an active industrial/pharmaceutical environment. Responsibilities Monitor contractor and subcontractor work activities to ensure safe work practices and compliance Support contractor onboarding, orientation, and safety training requirements Review project-specific safety plans and assist with contractor safety prequalification Conduct field observations, inspections, audits, and safety performance reviews Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis Ensure compliance with site safety programs including permit-to-work, lockout/tagout, confined space entry, crane and hoist activities, electrical safety, working at heights, PPE, hazardous materials, fire/life safety, and emergency response Document non-conformance issues and help drive corrective actions Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of construction safety experience required OSHA 30 and 510 certification required First Aid/CPR certified Strong knowledge of construction safety standards Must have experience in Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation Excellent verbal and written skills Embody HazTek's Core Values of Integrity, Compassion, Dependability, Leadership, Accountability Travel and Relocation Travel and or Relocation will be considered #J-18808-Ljbffr HazTek Safety Management
