About the Position

Job Title: Endoscopy Technician Profession: Endoscopy Tech Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day/Weekends Rotate Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in a hospital setting License: BLS required Certifications: CFER Description: Travel Endoscopy Technician position available. Candidates must have 2 years of experience in a hospital setting. Schedule is Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 17:30, with call requirements from 17:30 to 07:00 during the week and 24-hour call coverage on weekends. The unit has 9 pre/post rooms and 4 procedure rooms. Patient ratios are 1:1 for procedures and 1-3 for pre/post care. The unit has 3 full-time Endoscopy Technicians. Equipment includes Olympus, Steris, Conmed, ERBE, and Boston Scientific. Documentation system is Expanse and Provation. Shift is 8 hours, 5 days per week. Floating to the main operating room may be required if volume is light. No specific patient experience requirements. Candidates should be familiar with Olympus Endoscopes, Medivators, and leak testing. Knowledge of colonoscopies, EGD, ERCP, bronchoscopes, and EUS is essential. Must possess reprocessing knowledge and skills. Advanced skills needed for procedures including EGD, colonoscopies, ERCP, BARRYX ablations, bronchoscopies, Bravo placements, HET, TIF, EBUS, and EUS. Client scrubs are provided, and closed-toe shoes are required. Great team that values collaboration. Providers are supportive of the team and value them as members of the care team.
