About the Position

Job Title: DEXA Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: DEXA Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year in inpatient and emergency department settings License: Active state Radiologic Technologist license Certifications: ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: - Interest and willingness to learn DEXA - Ability to perform general radiology and fluoroscopy - Experience with moving portable units Description: DEXA experience is not required as training will be provided. The traveler must be interested and willing to learn. Responsibilities include general radiology and fluoroscopy procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in inpatient and emergency department settings. They should be comfortable moving portable units. An active BLS certification and ARRT registration is required. Preference will be given to candidates with EPIC and Cerner experience. Experience in a Level I trauma environment is also preferred. Various X-ray units utilized include GE, Siemens, Phillips, and Fuji. The facility is a comprehensive healthcare provider dedicated to controlling illness and promoting health.
