The Role

We are seeking a reliable Scrub Technician to support our surgical teams across a wide range of specialties, including Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, ENT, GYN, GI, General Surgery, and Podiatry . You will be responsible for maintaining the sterile field and anticipating the needs of our surgeons to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Certification: MUST HAVE a Certificate in Surgical Technology from an accredited program.
• Experience: MUST HAVE minimum of 2 years  prior Operating Room experience (ASC experience preferred).
• Skills: Expert knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical instrumentation, and room turnover.
• Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Key Responsibilities

• Surgical Support: Function as the primary scrub person, passing instruments and supplies with precision and anticipating surgeon needs.
• Sterile Field Management: Maintain and monitor the sterile field to the highest aseptic standards.
• Turnover & Prep: Efficiently set up for cases using physician preference cards and assist in rapid room turnover.
• Safety: Conduct meticulous counts of sponges, sharps, and instruments with the circulator and participate in all "time-out" protocols.
