Job Description

CDR General Services is seeking an experienced Blaster/Painter Foreman to lead our second shift team in Belle Chasse, LA . This Temp to Hire opportunity is ideal for a hands on leader with experience supervising blasting and industrial painting operations in a shipyard or heavy industrial environment. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, organized, and committed to delivering high quality work while leading a productive team.

Pay Rate: $28.00–$40.00 per hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and lead the second shift blasting and painting crew
Coordinate daily work assignments to ensure production goals are met
Inspect blasting and painting work to ensure quality standards are maintained
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company procedures
Train, mentor, and support crew members
Monitor equipment and report maintenance or repair needs
Read and interpret work orders, specifications, and project requirements
Maintain accurate production and safety records
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Previous experience as a Blaster/Painter Foreman or Supervisor required
Experience in industrial, marine, or shipyard blasting and painting preferred
Strong leadership and team management skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders
Knowledge of industrial painting, blasting techniques, and safety procedures
Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
