Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient- and family-centered care in the operating room and perioperative services areas across all patient populations, serving as a patient advocate.
• Perform comprehensive head-to-toe assessments and reassessments on all patients, including pediatric and geriatric populations, in accordance with facility policy.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans through assessment, nursing diagnosis, and ongoing evaluation in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Adequately assess and reassess pain levels and apply appropriate pain management techniques.
• Maintain skills in prioritizing workload, managing changes in assignment, and integrating multiple tasks with multilevel personnel.
• Uphold and maintain standards for professional nursing practice, sterile technique, and the team concept within the perioperative setting.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program.
• Current, active Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience (strictly enforced).
• Thorough knowledge of sterile technique and surgical nursing standards.
• Strong communication skills with keen attention to detail.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including RNs, LPNs, Nursing Assistants, Physicians, and ancillary disciplines.
