Construction Inspector

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Construction Inspector with 1+ year of experience to join our team. This position involves construction phase testing and inspection of foundation construction; earthwork; soil placement and compaction; concrete; reinforcing steel; and various other construction materials and operations. Responsibilities Perform field testing of construction materials (soils, concrete, and steel) Communicate with project managers and sub-contractors regarding inspection, observation, and testing results Transportation of sample materials for laboratory analysis Preparation of field data and technical reports Travel to various construction sites to perform inspections Requirements 1 year experience in field construction inspection and testing Associates Degree Nuclear Density Gauge Operator certification Prior experience with geotechnical and/or environmental field investigation highly preferred ACI, AASHTO, or ICC certifications highly preferred The estimated compensation range for this position is $22/hr to $28/hr Whitestone's Employee Stock Ownership Program (offered at no cost to each eligible employee) Medical Insurance Health & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts Traditional & Roth 401K Plans with Company Match Long Term & Short Term Disability Insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr Whitestone Associates, Inc.
